The weather at Grand Canyon was.... um..... less than ideal. There was an extreme amount of haze which was a result of small northern Arizona forest fires and Las Vegas smog. The decreased viewing distances made for some interesting photos while providing a challenge in attaining the desired (clear and sharp) photos. All photos were taken on the "Hermit Road" route, which in my opinion is the most beautiful area of the park.

The two images above were taken late in the evening, about one hour before sunset. All images below were shot the next morning. Luckily the haze wasn't as bad the second day.

This image was taken in the "Grand Canyon Village" which is in the park. The deer in the park are obviously quite tame.
